We’re pleased to share that Xperate has successfully passed its annual ISO 27001 audit, completed just before Christmas.
Xperate first achieved ISO 27001 certification in December 2024, following a year-long programme to design and implement a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS). Since certification, we are subject to annual independent audits to ensure we continue to meet the standard, remain compliant, and keep pace with best practice in information security.
ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for information security management. It sets out the framework organisations must follow to protect information assets, manage risk, and continually improve how data is handled. Passing the annual audit demonstrates that these controls are not only in place but are actively maintained and embedded into our day-to-day operations.
Our original certification project was led by John Mappley, with support from Becky Patterson, and focused on building an ISMS that is robust, efficient, and practical - designed to support how Xperate works in reality, not just to satisfy an audit.
We’re especially proud of the outcome of this year’s audit. The auditor commented:
“It was great to see the high-quality documents, processes and genuine commitment to the ISMS you demonstrated during the audit.”
Successfully passing our annual audit reinforces our commitment to maintaining high standards of information security and gives our clients and partners continued confidence that their data is protected.
As we look ahead, these yearly audits provide a structured way to ensure we continually review, improve, and strengthen our approach - keeping information security at the heart of everything we do.
