SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Proficient in performing database migrations, ensuring smooth and error-free transfer of data between different database systems or versions
• Strong expertise in complex query writing, including optimization and performance tuning to ensure efficient retrieval and manipulation of data
• Preferred qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of database management systems, with experience in working with popular platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Experience in designing and implementing database structures, schemas, and indexes, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies, including scheduling and verifying backups, and executing recovery procedures in case of data loss or system failures
  • Knowledge of database security best practices, including user access controls, authentication mechanisms, and data encryption
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, such as data corruption, connectivity problems, or query performance bottlenecks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of database issues and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and provide technical support and guidance
