Role Summary
This is an exciting Support Consultant role providing technical assistance exclusively for one of Xperate’s key clients supporting their UK and Europe based clients using their records management applications and assisting with documentation and technical authoring. The successful applicant must have a passion for technology and a natural flair for troubleshooting, whilst being an excellent communicator with a high standard of spoken and written English.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding quickly to client generated queries within an agreed timeframe (SLA)
- Accurately recording queries on our CRM database, providing updates to the client and documenting solutions
- Troubleshooting issues to find solutions and fixes to raised queries
- Delivering fixes to the client via remote support
- Working with our offshore developers and Solutions Consultants, where necessary, to provide solutions to raised queries
- Creating technical guides and manuals for our client as required
Technical Skills & Personal Attributes
- Enthusiastic individual with a flair for troubleshooting and solving problems.
- A good working knowledge of MS SQL and the Microsoft suite in general
- A degree in Computer Science, Computing or similar discipline is desirable but we would also be interested in anyone with relevant work experience in the same area
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Applicants must be confident speaking with new people and be good at listening
- Collaborative, methodical, team player who cares about best practice and would enjoy being part of a thriving Company
- Confidence to put your own ideas into any tasks, be self-motivated and have the ability to work under your own initiative
- Have a passion for learning new technologies
