Senior Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a comprehensive automation strategy that aligns with the project and organisational goals
• Select appropriate tools and technologies for test automation
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks to support various types of testing (UI, API, Performance, etc)
• Ensure the scalability and reusability of the test automation framework
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Execute automated tests and analyse results to identify defects and areas for improvement
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and feedback
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that testing is an integral part of the software development process
• Define and track quality metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to measure the effectiveness of the test automation
• Prepare and present reports on test automation progress and highlights to stakeholders
• Work closely with QA teams, developers, and product managers to create a seamless workflow
• Mentor junior automation engineers and promote best practices in automation testing
