Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement an end-to-end test strategy covering functional, regression, automation, performance, and security testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
  • Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security scenarios.
  • Perform performance testing to identify bottlenecks and scalability issues.
  • Conduct security testing using tools like Burp Suite to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality checks.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and business requirements.
  • Define, track, and report quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and open defects.
  • Prepare and present test reports and quality dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality at every stage.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation, performance, and security testing.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and testing standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s /master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Senior Test Engineer or Lead Test Engineer role.
  • Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in mentoring junior engineers and leading QA initiatives.

Technical Skills

Core Skills
Strong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress) and C#, Python, or Java.                        Excellent SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.  
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Desirable Skills
JMeter, Loadrunner or equivalent.  Experience in Security Testing using tools like Burp Suite.
Good to Have
Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
