Cyber Essentials Plus Certification Achieved

Having almost doubled in size since we last achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, we knew approaching our first renewal that it may be a tougher proposition this time round.  With double the amount of laptops and mobile devices in use across the business, the audit and review of  our systems and practices was indeed rigorous.

The key aspect of getting Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation is that an independent 3rd party reviews and tests your systems.  We had a number of our team selected at random for an individual assessment.  Their laptops and devices were tested to ensure that viruses and other malware are unable to easily slip in through email and web browsers.  This provides us, and anyone we do business with, to have great confidence in the robust setup of the systems and infrastructures we have put in place.

In addition, every computer in Xperate was scanned to check for vulnerabilities and our external-facing IP addresses were tested to make sure they were secure.

We'd thoroughly recommended CE+ accreditation for the peace of mind it provides.  Thank you to Richard Andreae of SupPortal UK Ltd for auditing us so diligently and for explaining the processes along the way.
