Last week saw the Xperate annual company kick-off event consisting of a team meeting to look back on the company's performance over the past year but more importantly, looking forward to the next 12 months and how the company will continue to grow and prosper.
After this, we headed off to Clue Capers Limited in Central Winchester to take on their escape rooms. We split into three teams, and Team 2, consisting of Anna Dickens (team captain), Mark Garnish, Mark Bilson, Rob Carter and Maxime Champagne, were the victors, but only by 1 minute 10 seconds.
The escape rooms provided a great opportunity for people to work together who perhaps wouldn’t normally do so, due to their differing roles. There was a mix of experience and youth in all three teams. It was great fun and everyone enjoyed it.
Finally, the day finished with a fantastic meal at Kyoto Kitchen. We had their Taste of Japan set menu which allowed us an opportunity to eat a wide range of their dishes. Many of us were sampling Japanese food for the first time but the staff explained every dish and made it a really interactive experience.
Yesterday showed how well we work together as a team and we look forward to continuously going above and beyond the expectations of our clients as a team over the next 12 months.
