Senior Security Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform security testing and penetration testing for applications and APIs
  • Identify, document, and track security vulnerabilities and risks
  • Work closely with development teams to validate fixes and improvements
  • Create and execute security and automation test cases
  • Analyse test results and share clear reports with stakeholders
  • Mentor junior testers and promote secure testing practices
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams
  • Support automation testing efforts using Playwright and related tools

Technical Skills

Core Skills
  • Strong experience in Application Security Testing
  • Hands-on expertise with Burp Suite (or equivalent enterprise-grade security testing tools)
  • Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (Web, API, UI)
  • Knowledge of common application vulnerabilities and secure testing practices.
  • Knowledge of ethical hacking tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in API security testing, authentication, and authorization
  • Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
Additional Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Good working knowledge of SQL and backend testing
