Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in designing and executing test automation and performance testing strategies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Execute performance tests, analyze results, and identify bottlenecks or areas of improvement.
• Support the design and maintenance of test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute manual and automated tests and report defects with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality and performance are addressed early.
• Track and report quality and performance metrics such as defect density, response times, and error rates.
• Prepare test execution and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with QA, development, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Continuously improve testing processes and adopt best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s /master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Ability to document, analyze, and troubleshoot defects effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members and follow automation best practices.
