Downs Solicitors Successfully Completes Full Actionstep & XSDM Implementation with Xperate

We’re thrilled to share the success story of Downs Solicitors’ recent project in partnership with Xperate  - a full-scale implementation of Actionstep and XSDM for 106 users, completed seamlessly within just 8 months.

Project Scope

The project encompassed a complete migration from Norwel to Actionstep, alongside the design of workflows and documents, billing consultancy, accounts training, and comprehensive go-live support. A key component of this success was the use of XSDM (Xperate Standard Data Migration) – a proven methodology developed by Xperate to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient migration of data from legacy systems. 

The Team Behind the Success

This achievement was driven by the dedication and expertise of both teams. From Downs Solicitors, Richard Ockwell and Katie Gemmell provided strong leadership throughout the project.  From Xperate, Anna Dickens and Steve Broodie managed the implementation work, while Nick Dagnall oversaw the critical data migration process.  The entire project was expertly coordinated by Eleanor Kite, ensuring every milestone was met.  To complete the transition, end-user training was delivered by Beccy Scobell of Baskerville Drummond. Thanks to their combined efforts, every task was completed on time, keeping the project firmly on track from start to finish.
