Xperate and Exizent announce strategic development partnership

Exizent, the technology firm transforming the bereavement process by connecting the data, services, and networks of people involved, and Xperate, the leading legal services outsourced software development business, have announced a strategic partnership.

The partnership sees Xperate provide a number of their highly skilled software engineers to work seamlessly within Exizent’s software development team on a long-term basis. This will allow Exizent to make further progress adding functionality to their multi-sided software platform, particularly for legal and financial services firms.

Aleks Tomczyk, Managing Director of Exizent said
“We identified a need to add more capability and flexible capacity to our own excellent software development team. We selected Xperate due to a strong technology match, their legal services domain knowledge, track record and a good cultural fit with us.”

Alan Cooper, Exizent’s Head of Technology added:
“The Xperate team members working with us over the past few months have done really well. They have embedded seamlessly into our team, adapted to our coding practices and are adding more value to the platform every day. Their previous knowledge of the sector is helpful, which alongside the good practice ‘wrapper’ and management oversight from the wider Xperate team have been key ingredients of the success to date.
We see the relationship as a long term strategic one, during which we will likely scale resources further and use more of the different skillsets that are available through Xperate.”

Mark Garnish, Chief Operating Officer at Xperate commented:
“It is great to be working with Exizent. As a modern SaaS and cloud based legaltech they represent the future of software in the legal services space.  We have been really impressed with what they had built already, but what has shone through is also the fact they are a purpose driven business that wants to help legal firms be more efficient and do an even better job for their clients. We have enjoyed working with them so far and look forward to a long relationship.”

About Exizent

Exizent is the dedicated industry platform for professionals involved with managing the bereavement process. When someone passes away, Exizent connects the data and services used by legal services firms, banks and financial institutions, and executors to sort out what’s required to make the journey for the bereaved an easier one. The Exizent platform is becoming an integral part of the bereavement landscape helping to reduce uncertainty, increase speed and overall, make the process more straight forward for everyone.

It’s a business inspired by personal stories, stories of people who have lost loved ones that have then found themselves caught in a web of complexity at a time of personal anguish. Exizent doesn’t believe it has to be this way. By connecting the professionals, institutions and executors tasked with sorting out the administration involved when someone passes away Exizent is reducing the burden on those grieving.
